I’m excited to tell you that I have scheduled a second painting retreat in Capertee in March. If you missed out on the first one and would like to book with onsite accommodation, then now’s your opportunity.
We have reserved a delightful cottage, pictured above, in Glen Davis. It has queen and single rooms, two bathrooms, a great open-plan living space and a fully equipped kitchen. The verandahs and landscaped grounds are perfect vantage points for painting the spectacular mountains surrounding the property. If, like Tracie (who loved the first retreat so much she’s coming a second time), you prefer ‘million-star’ accommodation, you can camp, caravan or stay in one of our onsite tents. It’s a stretch to call these onsite tents glamping, nevertheless, you can comfortably stand and they come with a single-sized stretcher bed with mattress, linen, power and lighting. You could also choose to stay at the Royal Capertee Hotel or if luxury is your thing, then Belle Bois in Bogee might suit you better!
This second retreat is from Friday 14th to Monday 17th March. Places will be limited to 8 to ensure you receive plenty of individualised instruction and feedback.
What’s included from 1.00 pm Friday 14th March to 2.30 pm Monday 17th March?
Catered lunches from Saturday to Monday
7 Painting tutorials on aspects of painting plein air
Comfortable facilities and a beautiful aspect at base camp.
2 Painting boards or canvases
