I am writing to express my deep gratitude for your companionship and encouragement over 2024.
Another December has rolled around as if mysteriously catching us unaware, yet in truth, very predictably. It has been an exciting and challenging 12 months, filled with colour, buttery oil paint, vast skies and rocky outcrops. I have loved every minute of it!
I am indebted to you for taking an interest in my work - for giving me feedback, coming to see my exhibitions, replying to my emails and attending workshops. I am extremely grateful for the generous support I received which enabled me to travel to and paint in the Red Centre.
The desert paintings went up a couple of weeks ago at Stella Downer Fine Art in Waterloo and the opening function on Sat 23 November was a wonderful gathering of old and new friends. I felt honoured to have people there from many different avenues of my life, some of whom I hadn’t seen in years.
If you haven’t been yet and would like to, the exhibition is still on for another two weeks, until Saturday 21 December. I could meet you there perhaps… please email me if you’d like to arrange that.
In addition, I have had one cancellation for the March 2025 Capertee Painting Retreat, so if you missed out - now is your chance. It is four days of stimulating learning, painting the dramatic surroundings, eating good food, walking and making new friends. We have a wonderful ‘home base’ at Oska’s Cottage in Glen Davis and it promises to be a weekend filled with life and laughs. If this sounds like you, you can secure your spot today with a deposit. Check out the details here or call me to chat about it, on 0432 922 653.
Finally, I wish you and your family every blessing this season. May you experience peace, replenishment and joy as you celebrate Christmas and welcome the New Year.
