As I start 2023 I am consciously stepping into being present to living wholeheartedly, with my values front and centre.
One of my values is (of course) celebrating creativity and one of my goals for the year is to share both my passion and knowledge for it, with others.
The mystery of taking the germ of an idea, adding ingredients, trusting the process, navigating the uncertainty, and ultimately creating something new! When in flow, it's a ride that feels joyous and free, where everything goes 'right' and the magic happens. This is the kind of doing, that is also essentially about being, which I want for myself this year, and also for you.
So, I'm going to add to the words above, Do more of what you love and say also, Be more of who you love.
With this in mind, I'm truly excited to invite you to join me in some new workshops that I have designed for this purpose.
They range in theme, duration and intensity - there is something to tickle everyone's fancy and get your creative juices flowing!
If you want to enhance your painting skills, grow in creative confidence and learn new techniques, then check out the full-day workshops Explore Your Personal Style and Mark Making, The Art of Composition and Painting the Sky and Atmospheric Cloudscapes. Or, there are a couple of 2-day workshops also, Plein Air Landscape Drawing and Painting and, something a little different, Grounding Into Creative Flow. (I'm particularly excited about this last one which explores several creative and contemplative practices, including nature bathing, movement, writing, drawing, sculpting and painting). Could you check all this out here?
For those of you who are keen to embrace a playful challenge, have some fun and spend time with friends, then why not come along to a Fabulous Fridays Paint & Sip class? I'm throwing in a glass of bubbly and a few nibbles while I guide you to create your own unique artwork. What better way to spend a Friday evening with friends? Book now, with a couple of other creative companions and only pay for 2, when you book for 3!
When you attend any of my workshops, I want you to relax and feel re-energised, giving yourself time out from the concerns of everyday life. So expect me to provide delicious food, drinks and all the art materials. All you need to do is book your spot and turn up!
Finally, while I value my own time and skills, I also know we all have a million demands on our resources. So if money is a concern for you at the moment, please reach out to me, or take advantage of the early bird, pensioner and 'bring a friend' discounts on my website.
Looking forward to doing, and being with you this year,
Corinne
