One of the most wonderful things that people tell me is that my paintings make them look afresh at the sky and notice the colours, shapes and textures of clouds like never before!
This is a huge compliment in my book because I paint with the desire to create beauty, evoke wonder in nature and speak into the hearts of my audience about our shared human experience. So hearing that my work has shaped how someone experiences the world, enabling them to notice beauty where before they did not, fills me with joy.
Another joy-filled pursuit for me is teaching. When I get to inspire or facilitate someone growing in confidence and skill, I feel both honoured and excited. I know that learning to express one's creativity feels challenging and empowering and I want that for you!
If you've always wanted to paint the sky or an atmospheric landscape, then in a couple of weeks I have two workshops that will enable you to do just that. On Friday 25th August, 7 - 9.30 pm I'm running a creativity shot called Dramatic Landscape Painting, which will be loads of fun and push you to create your own unique artwork in just 2 and a half hours! Also, I have a couple of spots left in the full-day workshop on Sunday 27th, Painting the Sky and Atmospheric Cloudscapes.
So jump in and embrace your longing to paint!
