Exhibition Joys and Let's Find Your Flow

What a journey the past couple of months have been. Thank you for companioning me throughout! I have felt incredibly supported as I have stepped into a space of vulnerability and challenge.

A special thank you to those of you who visited my exhibition at Stella Downer Fine Art over the past month. I was so thrilled to show with Stella and loved the way she put the work together in her space. If you had the pleasure of meeting her, you will know that she is the most approachable and warm gallery director, with extraordinary expertise in her field and a wealth of experience to share. It feels like very good fortune to have her in my corner!

If you have taken the opportunity to listen to my TEDx talk, you will know that I shared openly about my process as an artist and in particular how I navigated a time of artistic block, back to creative flow. I learned that I needed to ground rather than strive and breathe deeply rather than push myself to succeed. I learned that practices like yoga and contemplative walking, which seem unrelated to art-making or creativity, when nurtured and embedded in my everyday life, enable me to easily and reliably step into flow. I learned that even in the midst of the constant demands of work, bills, housework and parenting, spaciousness and equanimity are possible!

If you are curious and want to know more, I invite you to join me tomorrow evening on Zoom. I'm offering a free 2-part online workshop, called Finding Your Flow. You can check out more here.

I look forward to seeing you soon, should you choose to come along. I'm excited to share more of my gold with you! Please bring some paper to draw on, a pencil or two and a notebook or journal.
