I don't know about you, but the past fortnight seems to have flown by! The Spring weather has settled in and I am looking forward with eager anticipation, to my painting expedition at Capertee and the Garden of Stones. I'm busily prepping the boards and paints I'll need, hoping to work up a storm, or at least the bones of an exhibition.
The lovely hosts at Dalli's Campground, Steve and Donata, are keeping me updated about the beautiful birds appearing, the flowers in season and the expected campers for the October long weekend. On the Sunday afternoon of that weekend, I will be running a plein air sketching workshop, available to all campers, both kids and adults. This will be a fun and relaxed time to explore drawing in and around the site - Coco Creek and the other stunning spots.
There are still a few places in my forthcoming workshops if you fancy a bit of painting yourself. Check out The Essentials of Painting Workshop - Painting Technique for Beginners & Intermediates on Sunday 29 Oct, from 1.30 to 4.30 pm, and Mastering the Dynamics of Colour Painting Workshop on 26 November 2023, from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm by clicking on the links.
I also have a few spots in the Abstract Painting Workshop next Friday evening. If you have done this one before, don't be put off, I will guide you to create something new.
