Warrumbungle Dreaming III, 2022, oil on board, 30 x 40 cm

$1,200.00

In October 2022 I travelled to the Warrumbungle ranges to paint. It was a wonderful time of immersing myself in the landscape. I walked, painted and cooked on an open fire next to my camper. This was the first painting I made on the field trip and like many plein air works, the marks are immediate and fresh. Only moments before dusk, I had to work quickly to capture the range, sky and foreground.
