Introducing Our Creative Escape in Capertee Valley

I’m thrilled to share the news that, from today, we are stewards of a beautiful property in the Capertee Valley! Nestled in the heart of the valley, our land offers a peaceful escape to reconnect, recharge, and relax. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views, it's the perfect setting to unwind to nature’s rhythms.

For many years, I have held onto a vision of creating a place for retreat, restoration, grounding and creative enlivenment. Right now, it is becoming a reality.

My longing is to connect deeply with the earth there, to develop intimacy with the landscape and to welcome others along the journey. It is an adventure that will hold many challenges - hopefully more joys. It will stretch me in ways I can’t fully anticipate - to grow in knowledge, skills and strength.

We plan to regenerate the soil, plant a food forest, grow a connected community, provide retreat for nature-lovers, walkers and bird watchers and create space and opportunities for those in search of creative inspiration or stillness. As well as the painting retreats, we hope to set up regular residencies for writers, artists and the like.
