Landscape Drawing Workshop

Plein Air Sketching at Glenbrook Lagoon, Blue Mountains

Working in the landscape can feel overwhelming… where do you begin and end, how do you know what to include and how to deal with all the detail?

In this workshop I will guide you through a number of drawing exercises to both learn about charcoal drawing and gain confidence working outdoors.

You will learn how to:

• Understand the unique challenges and qualities of working outdoors

• Develop skills in composition and arrangement, using a viewfinder

• Explore and experiment with charcoal, erasers and blenders

What to bring?

Snacks are provided, please pack your lunch and water/drinks for the day

Bring your own chair, sunscreen, insect repellant and a hat
