Nature and Creativity Reboot
Guided Bush Walk & Art Making Experience
Presence - Appreciation - Creativity
Corinne will lead this guided nature walk and art-making experience through a beautiful Blue Gum forest in the Lower Mountains. Together we will encounter nature and its processes as we pay mindful attention to the environment. Corinne will facilitate each person's unique creative response, whether with traditional art materials, found objects, poetry, film, or bodywork.
Through guided activities and meditations, Corinne will encourage you to explore, be curious, attentive, and playful in your creative expression. As each of us contemplates our encounter with the natural world and in particular the resilience and brilliance in the immediate surroundings, we will open ourselves up to be inspired and informed by the varying forms, colours, energy, and movement, to tap into the wisdom it can offer us.
Experience Reconnection & Intimacy with Nature
Through mindful contemplation and presence, we will explore how nature’s processes may act as our guideposts, leading us into deeply authentic creative expression.
Be Rejuvenated and Feel the Freedom to Explore
Through this workshop, you will experience a sense of renewal and joy as you allow yourself to connect profoundly with the natural world and respond with the life energy intrinsic to your humanness.
Refresh & Resource Yourself
A nourishing morning tea snack will be provided.
I will also supply art materials to use in the forest.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a sketchpad/journal, pencils and pen, a full water bottle, a backpack, and a camera. If you’re okay to carry it, bring a small folding stool or a mat to sit on.
Please note: You will need moderate fitness to do this forest bathing and art-making process. We will walk on mostly level ground for approximately an hour throughout the morning.
