Working with gouache or acrylic paint is a dynamic and exciting process, requiring you to master technique and have courage to overcome creative challenges. Together we will explore how best to select a subject, how to start and develop a painting and use various brush techniques. Corinne will guide you to work intuitively, maximizing the immediacy and versatility of these mediums.

You will learn how to:
• Understand the unique challenges and qualities of working with water-based paints
• Develop skills in composition and arrangement
• Explore and experiment with transparent and opaque paint application
• Confidently handle washes and fluid mark-making
• Manipulate and layer colours
• Understand the challenges of working quickly, with immediacy
• Use glazes
What’s included?
Art materials are supplied, however, you can bring your favourite brushes or colours if you wish.

CANCELLATION
I reserve the right to cancel the workshop if minimum enrolments are not reached two weeks prior to the workshop date or for circumstances beyond my control. You will be offered placements in an alternative workshop or a refund of all fees. Should any Covid 19 circumstances result in your non-attendance, you will be offered a place in an alternative workshop.
As I rely on group numbers for this workshop, the following cancellation fees will be charged if you choose to cancel or do not attend:
· On or before 4 weeks prior - FULL REFUND
· On or before 2 weeks prior - 50% of workshop fee
· Less than 2 weeks prior - 100% of workshop fee
