What do you do when your trust is betrayed?

What do you do when your trust is betrayed? When someone you love shatters your belief in them? Perhaps your belief in humanity?

Do you, like me, feel you have stepped into a wilderness - where little seems certain except gnawing pain and burgeoning doubt? Where even the values you hold dear seem to waver, frail at the onslaught of grief and confusion?

In this untamed, desolate place the smell of my paints and the touch of my brushes brings me comfort.

Even the act of creating feels precipitous, yet as I trust my intuition and surrender to the 'fall’, so the painting begins to express all that illudes words.

So here is a story in pictures for you, about love and faith, about betrayal, surrender, hope and redemption.
