About the Exhibition
Braemar Gallery’s final exhibition for 2015, Seeing, Being, Painting, promises to bring you dynamic, impressionistic paintings by Jane Canfield, Vanessa Stockard and Corinne Loxton. Each of these artists paints from life, using direct observation of the natural world to make work that explores the nature of being and the act of seeing. Through their painted interpretations, they invite you to see your world afresh - as though with new eyes. In the words of the French Impressionist, Edgar Degas “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.”
