This painting was made whilst on a plein air painting trip to the Capertee Valley in Oct 2023 and painted alla prima, meaning all at once. Looking over the Glen Davis Valley towards the setting sun, the clouds seemed to spring upwards, pushed by the sun’s last warmth.
